Infinix 24Y1 Smart TV With Linux OS Launched In India
Infinix has expanded its range of televisions in India. The brand has announced the Infinix 24Y1 smart TV. It carries an affordable price tag and is targeted towards budget buyers. The latest offering actually joins the 34 and 43-inch Y1 televisions that were introduced last year. Read on to know what the television offers out of the box.
The Infinix 24Y1 TV comes with a 24-inch display bearing an HD resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It offers 250 nits brightness and features thick bezels around the screen. Audio-wise, the television is equipped with 16W box speakers tuned by Dolby Audio.
Under the hood, the Infinix 24Y1 is equipped with an unspecified processor. It packs 512MB RAM and 4GB onboard storage. Software-wise, it runs on Linux OS and features a Chromecast built-in. It ships with pre-installed popular OTT apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, and YouTube. The television comes with a remote control featuring hotkeys for YouTube and Prime Video.
Connectivity options on the Infinix 24Y1 include two HDMI ports, two USB ports, single-band WiFi, Ethernet port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Infinix 24Y1 smart TV is priced at Rs 6,799. It can be purchased from Flipkart starting March 15 onwards.
In other news, Infinix recently launched the Smart 7 phone and INBook Y1 Plus laptop in India. The former is a budget handset with a 6.6-inch display, Unisoc T606 SoC, 4GB RAM, and a 6,000mAh battery unit. The smartphone costs Rs 7,299. The laptop comes with a 15.6-inch FHD display, 10th gen Core i3 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and up to 512GB SSD storage. The INBook Y1 Plus starts at Rs 29,990.
